Error during Initializing setup "an attempt was made to load an assembly..."

Hi

I get this error when trying to install Exchange 2013 on a Server 2012 build on Hyper-V (running on Windows 8.1).  All prerequisites are installed and I have tried re-downloading the .iso from TechNet.

It's also impossible to scroll down the error message to see the rest of it.

Did you tried Crtl+C

It works in GUI, but hasn't tried in Web Console.

I have exactly the same issue. Cant see all the message to find out what DLL it has a problem with.

We need to have a full error message on the thread that would give some idea about the issue.

I believe Windows Server 2012 Is UpToDate
Are you using Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2?

Cause Exchange 2013 is not yet supported on R2

SOLVED: Don't install from an extracted ISO, mount or burn it and it installs fine.

OR
Download the latest bits from Microsoft Download Center and use that for the setup. Right now that would be CU3 and if I am not mistaken the ISO that is available on TechNet is only RTM or CU1.
